Education, Youth and Capacity Programs
Success in training and capacity programs is measured by the permanence of learning, increase in self-confidence, application skills and transition to behavior rather than the number of access.
BigCat evaluates program impact not only with participation data, but also with learning outcome and subsequent term design decision; It shows which module will be strengthened, which content will be simplified and which group needs more support.
Even if the number of participants is high, the permanence of learning and the transition to behavior may remain uncertain. While the program seems well implemented, some modules may not resonate with the target audience.
The real need is “how many people did we reach?” is to overcome the question; The questions of which content brings the behavior closer, which group needs support and which module should change in the next period should be answered.
Pre-test/post-test, short follow-up measurement, participant experience, open-ended responses and module-based performance are constructed together. Learning, self-confidence and application intention are tracked separately.
Report; It turns into a decision document for program revision, module priorities, stakeholder presentation and next period measurement plan.
Did the program change the knowledge, attitudes or behavior of the target audience?
Which module, content or application produced the stronger learning outcome?
Can the participant carry what he/she learned into daily life, work or enterprise?
How should the design, duration, or content change in the next program period?
