Programme and partners
The Green Planet (Yeşil Gezegen) Project is run by Habitat Association (Habitat Derneği), the Vodafone Türkiye Foundation and Vodafone Türkiye. The programme is open to primary and middle school students aged 7 to 14. Its aim is to build environmental and disaster awareness in this age group.[1][2]
GreenFest and return on investment
The Yeşil Gezegen GreenFest was held at the Istanbul Planning Agency's Florya Campus, and about 600 children attended. The festival programme included a short film competition themed "Protect the Planet" and workshops such as recycled paper and seed ball making. The reports say each 1 lira invested produced 5.6 lira of value; they give no detail on the calculation method.[2][3]
